Shocking isn’t it. Almost 10 years after Anwar was implicated on his first sodomy case, now comes another. That is Malaysian politics, always shocking, full of twist and sometimes absurd.

As a fellow Malaysian myself, I find the timing extremely off. Anwar claims by end of the week some of member of parliments from UMNO will defect and Anwar is on the way to be the next PM. Next how can an old man like him overpower a young 23 year old guy and sodomized him? A gun pointed to his head? Lots of $$ for him to taste Anwar’s forbidden fruit?

So Saiful seems to be well connected with UMNO people eh based on these pictures?

So if Anwar and gang know this is a mole, why still work with him? How can someone be so fast so close with Anwar? Maybe Anwar has preferences over guys, and God knows the reason; not enough $$? bored of his life? Umno bought him over? planted?…

It can be Anwar is playing the pity tactic to get the sympathy of Malaysians, something so absurd that no Malaysians will belief that Anwar sodomize the guy.

It can be UMNO guys are so desperate to stop Anwar from being PM or diverting the current mongolian murder case and they have ran out of ideas to stop Anwar. Maybe an advisor told UMNO that if it worked 10 years ago the sodomize case, it will work again today. (why recycle something that works?)

It can be Saiful is working independently, screwing Anwar ‘s backside and Umno’s. One day waking up knowing that I want to be Malaysian most famous person and I want the world to talk about me! And tadaaaa, a sensational story just like that. Imagine what companies would pay for such branding in 24 hours!

Whatever the reasons may be, politics in Malaysia is definitely entertaining. There will be stories and there will be truth, but one thing I am sure, both of them will go along very well.

KB council bans lipstick, high heels

“KOTA BARU: Muslim women employees working here are forbidden to wear lipstick and high-heeled shoes to work.

The circular stated that the directive, targeted at Muslim women employees working in food outlets and other business premises, was issued to prevent incidents like rape and illicit sex as well as to safeguard the morals and dignity of Muslim women in Kelantan. “

———————————————————————————–

As a distributor of Arissa Studios Cosmetics and a fellow Malaysian, I find this statement made by the municipal council extremely ignorant and stupid. Let me break it into easier points just in case the PAS government is reading this blog.
Lipstick is an accessory used by women worldwide to enhance their lips and give their lips colour. That is the basic functions of cosmetic, to brighten oneself. In the service industry especially, being radiant, cheerful and have a pleasant personality improves customer relationships and automatically business. How can having luscious lips leads to sex?

What about high heel shoes? Yes, taller womens are considered more attractive but I doubt normal Malaysians go around raping tall girls. Are there any statistics that shows that tall girls get rape more often than shorter girls? Let us consider the following statement made by the municipal council; “It stated that Muslim women were forbidden to wear thick make-up, bright coloured lipstick and high-heeled shoes which made a tapping sound. Those who insisted on wearing high-heeled shoes should choose those with rubber soles.”

Wow such amazing statement. I wonder when the girls tap on their shoes, are they sending out morse code for sex? Do guys in Kelantan get turn on when they hear tapping sounds? How about banning tap water?

Why not ban comb? I am sure combing girl’s hair is consider illegal too as it makes you look neat and beautiful? After that, we can ban deodorant too and perfume too! Oh yea, the smell will intoxificate the men and cause them hallucinations and will increase rapes. Why stop there ya? Ban shampoo too as it makes hair silky smooth and luring to men.
Let us be more sensible here. How expose can a women working in fast food or business premise be? Most fast food centres have uniforms too and I believe women dress professionally in business areas. Stop degrading women as merely sex objects for men to rape and also please stop generalizing that being beautiful leads to rape. Old ladies, young girls (boys), mentally challenged women get rape too.

Here is a thought for PAS. How about banning men from Kelantan all together and all you Pas members can get a hard on thinking of the women alone without interferences? Now I hope you don’t ejaculate by the thought ya.
There are better more important issues to consider rather than pissing off the sultan with petty concert matters and highlighting women attire as the cause of rape. Do work hard for the people; easing the burden of rising cost, providing more jobs opportunities and perhaps even attracting investment to boost the country networth.

Cheers,

Charles Gregory

At Puretree, we use only high grade premium bath salts (magnesium sulfate)

Magnesium is the second-most abundant element in human cells and the fourth-most important positively charged ion in the body, so it’s little wonder this low-profile mineral is so vital to good health and well being. Magnesium, a major component of Puretree Salt, also helps to regulate the activity of more than 325 enzymes and performs a vital role in orchestrating many bodily functions, from muscle control and electrical impulses to energy production and the elimination of harmful toxins.

Better health through soaking

Magnesium can be ingested as a nutritional supplement, but studies show that a wide variety of factors – the presence of specific foods or drugs, certain medical conditions, even the individual chemistry of a person’s stomach acid – can interfere with their effectiveness. But all of the subjects in a recent study experienced increased magnesium levels from soaking in a bath enriched with magnesium sulfate crystals, commonly known as Epsom Salt.

Researchers and physicians report that raising your magnesium levels may:

Improve heart and circulatory health, reducing irregular heartbeats, preventing hardening of the arteries, reducing blood clots and lowering blood pressure.

Improve the body’s ability to use insulin, reducing the incidence or severity of diabetes.

Flush toxins and heavy metals from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances.

Improve nerve function by regulating electrolytes. Also, calcium is the main conductor for electrical current in the body, and magnesium is necessary to maintain proper calcium levels in the blood.

Relieve stress. Excess adrenaline and stress are believed to drain magnesium, a natural stress reliever, from the body. Magnesium is necessary for the body to bind adequate amounts of serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of well being and relaxation.

While increasing your magnesium levels, Puretree Salt also delivers sulfates, which are extremely difficult to get through food but which readily absorb through the skin. Sulfates serve a wide variety of functions in the body, playing a vital role in the formation of brain tissue, joint proteins and the mucin proteins that line the walls of the digestive tract. Sulfates also stimulate the pancreas to generate digestive enzymes and are believed to help detoxify the body’s residue of medicines and environmental contaminants.

More on Health Benefits

Studies show these benefits from the major components of Puretree Salt may:

Magnesium:

Ease stress and improves sleep and concentration

Help muscles and nerves function properly

Regulate activity of 325+ enzymes

Help prevent artery hardening and blood clots

Make insulin more effective

Reduce inflammation to relieve pain and muscle cramps

Improve oxygen use

Sulfates:

Flush toxins

Improve absorption of nutrients

Help form joint proteins, brain tissue and mucin proteins

Help prevent or ease migraine headaches

More on Beauty Benefits

May soften skin and exfoliate

Provides magnesium, which has been shown to:

Ease stress

Lower blood pressure

Create a happy, relaxed feeling

Raise energy levels

So how do we use these salts?

Health Usage Tips

For compresses: Use 2 cups of Puretree Salt per gallon of water for sore muscles, bug bites and splinter removal.

For soaking: Add two cups of Puretree Salt to warm water in a standard-sized bathtub. Double the Puretree Salt for an oversized garden tub. Popular for easing muscle pain and fading bruises. Bathe three times weekly, soaking for at least 12 minutes.

Foot bath: Add a cup of Puretree Salt to a tub of warm water as a popular balm for aching feet.

Beauty Usage Tips

For a relaxing soak: Add two cups of Puretree Salt to the water in a standard-sized bathtub; soak for at least 12 minutes, three times weekly. For an extra treat, add a few drops of eucalyptus oil for a refreshing scent.

To exfoliate: Mix 2 cups of Puretree Salt with 1/4 cup of petroleum jelly and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Use the mixture to gently scrub away dry skin patches.

Facial: Mix 1/2 TSP of Puretree Salt into cleansing cream for a deep-pore cleansing. Massage on skin. Rinse with cool water. Pat dry.

Spa treatment: After showering, massage handfuls of Puretree Salt over wet skin to exfoliate the body. It’s the same treatment many upscale spas use, without the upscale price!

Bath crystals: Mix two cups of Puretree Salt with a few drops of fragrance to create a custom bath crystal. Add a few drops of food coloring or 1/2 TSP of glycerin if you like. Store in an air-tight container.

Collagen and the Human Body

Collagen is the most common structural protein that provides strength and flexibility to the joints, skin, hair and nails. There are many different types of collagen with type I and II being the most predominant. The human body has natural stores of collagen, accounting for 25-30% of its total protein, making the joints and bones strong and healthy, the skin smooth and tight, and the hair glossy and full

However, as we get older, especially after the age of 25, our body’s ability to produce collagen slows sown and the natural stores of collagen in the body decrease. Moreover, due to pollution, exposure to ultra-violet radiation in sunlight, unhealthy eating habits, smoking, alcohol drinking and drugs abuse, as well as work stress, tight schedule and late-night sleep that characterize urban life, loss of collagen has accelerated. As the result, we start to show signs of ageing, such as hair loss, dry and flaky skin, wrinkles, sore joints, brittle nails and osteoarthritis

There are several ways to replenish lost collagen, including collagen injection. The best one, however, is by taking oral supplements that contains them. This is the way to treat the collagen loss from the inside out.

Now, by introducing to you Youth Powerhouse® BioLive Collagen, we are offering you the best choice for replenishing collagen in your body which is naturally lost with age. Youth Powerhouse is a fountain of youth for women and men, young and old. With BioCell Collagen II® as the key ingredient, it can make you look as young and healthy as you feel

BioCell Collagen II®

BioCell Collagen II® is a revolutionary powerhouse ingredient that feeds the body with Collagen Type II for maximum nutritional support. It contains highly efficacious and naturally occurring levels of hydrolysed Collagen Type II protein and low molecular weight glycosaminoglycans ( GAGs ), including depolymerised Chondroitin Sulphate ( minimum 20% ) and Hyaluronic Acid ( HA, minimum 10% ) which form abd important component of connective tissues. A recipient if three U.S. patents, it has been developed as a molecularly optimised ingredient that can be easily absorbed by the body. An acute oral toxicity study has also shown that no adverse effect is observed in overdose exposure to BioCell Collagen II®, affirming that it is zero risk for human consumption.

Active Joints

Glucosamine Sulphate and HA in BioCell Collagen II® are effective in improving joint mobility and slowing down or even stopping the effects of osteoarthritis. Result from a clinical study show that BioCell Collagen II® improves pain and joint stiffness significantly. Researchers conclude that BioCell Collagen II® is a safe and effective supplement for adjunctive treatment of osteoarthritis.

Youthful Skin

The generous amount of HA is known to effectively inhibit hyaluronidase, a glycosamonoglycan extra-cellular matrix constituent which can contribute to signs of ageing on the skin tissue rejuvenation, thereby improving skin tone and reducing the appearance of wrinkles

Healthy Hair and Nails

Extra info

Hyaluronic acid is present in every tissue of the body, with the highest concentrations occurring in connective tissues like skin and cartilage.

Hyaluronic acid has been shown to hold on to more water than any other molecule in the body, which is vital in the production/maintenance of collagen and cartilage.

Our skin is made up of 70% water, and hyaluronic acid promotes cellular renewal and structure. This nutrient is ideal for supporting the more aqueous parts of the body.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA), together with collagen, is essential for the health of soft connective tissue. Hyaluronic Acid is present in the synovial fluid that surrounds joints, cartilage and the eye and skin tissue. Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin retain moisture and functions as a lubricant between the connective tissue of the skin. Take, for example, a drying fruit. A plum starts out plump and moist. When you remove the water and you get…a prune. The same thing happens with loss of Hyaluronic Acid. It leads to skin, eye and joint problems associated mostly with advanced age.

This post will describe the benefits of essential oils that is in our Puretree products.

Lavender

Use throughout the ages as a natural antiseptic, antibiotic, anti-depressant, sedative and detoxifier is still used today to promote healing and prevent or diminish unsightly scar from forming.
Being so gentle, it is ideal to use on children and babies, to help prevent childhood infections and to soothe temper tantrums and upsets.

Sweet Almond

Sweet almond oil is used as a moisturizer and as a carrier oil in aromatherapy. It is an effective emollient, softening and smoothing the skin. It is one of the most commonly used carrier oils because it does not leave a greasy residue. It is obtained from the dried kernel of the almond tree. The oil from the almond nut is rich in vitamin A and a superb natural moisturiser. Sweet Almond Oil is very beneficial for dry and mature skin, providing necessary moisture

Honey

“Honey provides a moist healing environment yet prevents bacterial growth even when wounds are heavily infected,” notes Dr. Peter Molan of the Honey Research Unit at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. “It is a very effective means of quickly rendering heavily infected wounds sterile, without the side effects of antibiotics, and it is even effective against antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria.”

Tea Seed Oil

Tea Seed Oil is one of the most rapidly absorbed oils, which makes it an excellent choice for facial use. Rich in antioxidants, contains vitamins A, B, and E. Tea Seed Oil can make old skin seem new again.

Sunflower Oil

Expressed from the seed of the Sunflower plant. It is rich in Vitamins A,C, D, and E. The high Vitamin E content makes this oil especially helpful for delicate and dry skin. Sunflower Oil has a protective effect on the skin. It is believed to have healing properties when applied to bruises and skin conditions.

Lemongrass

In the earlier article we read about the basics of aromatherapy and essential oil, so how does aromatherapy works?

Now imagine a world without smell. Imagine you have no nose. First of all you will look ugly and more importantly you will not be able to smell the beautiful and yucky things. When my mom cooks, the aroma that enters my nose stimulates my hunger and I wait in anticipation to enjoying the good food. Similar when I pick up a rotten egg and try to fry it, my brain automatically warns me the food is bad and throw it away. With aromatherapy, the smell received will triger and stimulate positively the part of our brain that controls our emotions, memories, learning and mood.

Few Ways…

Now there are few ways to enhance the use of aromatherapy products.

Physical Application

Oils that are applied to the skin are believed to be absorbed into the bloodstream. However take note never to apply undiluted essential oil to your body as it will cause more harm than good. To apply essential oils to the skin, carrier oils which are pure vegetable oils are used to dilute the essential oils and “carry” them to the skin. I will go into more details of carrier oils especially Shea butter in my next article. So the next time you buy essential oil, wise up! If the salesgirl says 100% pure essential oil, test her if is ok to apply directly to the skin, if she say yes, please by all means educate her. Also be careful when you massage someone with essential oils, make sure you don’t massage the genitals and private part thinking it will grow bigger or firmer. It simply doesn’t work that way. However some essential oils are good for shinier, bouncier hair. Just google more on the effects of aromatherapy oils.

Smell smell…

With pure essential oils, you can actually use the burner(diffuser), put a few drops and mix with water and slowly burn it so the smell comes out and you can enjoy the full benefits of the product.

Chew & Swallow?

By right yes, if the product is 100% natural, it is definitely safe for the body. At direct2ushop.com our soaps are 100% natural that even if you eat it we guarantee you will not get sick!
Then again, why in the world would eat a soap? If you are hungry, come over to my shop and I will treat you some nice fried rice.

Let me start with the word aromatherapy. The word can be split into 2; aroma which means smell or fragrance and therapy which means healing. Joined together the word aromatherapy means healing using the sense of smell. But there is more to the word than just using the power of smell to heal our body. Many define aromatherapy as the practice of using volatile plan oils including essential oils for psychological and personal well being.

Now to the next question; What are essential oils?

Essential oils are pure essence of a plant. Almost every plant in this world can be made into essential oil. The more common ones are like lavender essential oil which helps relaxation. There are hundreds of essential oils which are documented and each provide a natural healing effect. Now just imagine a bottle of 10ml lavender essential oil…how many lavender plants are needed to harvest, squeeze and eventually fill up 10ml. That is why pure essential oil are quite expensive.

Be Careful…and Beautiful

Now be very careful with artificial or misleading labels which tries to pass off as essential oil. Fragrance oils are not essential oils, natural perfumes are not essential oils and neither are sweet smelling oils. Perfumes and fragrance oils contains chemicals and alcohol and certainly do not provide therapeutic healing.

Always look for the labels that provide 100% natural ingredients.
